Barry Walker
Barry Walker, owner and webmaster of BDWRekordings.com was born back in 1976 and grew up in a growing town called Livingston in Scotland.
He first had interest in writing music back when he was in high school when he seen that you could use computers to compose music. It was until he turned 16 he bought a Commodore Amiga and armed with a copy of Noise Tracker that Barry was able to start what he wanted to do, write Bouncy Techno music. His love of music entered him into the world of Tracking and giving away his tracks for free.
Barry then started using OctaMED 2.0 which meant he could use more tracks, but was still limited with the Amiga sound chip. Still giving away music, he recorded tracks under the names Vibemaster B, Speedy B and Statik Rhythm. Eventually this had to change as the sound quality wasnt up to the standards anymore.
In 2000, Barry was a passenger in a car accident, this changed everything as Barry was able to spend money on a brand new computer aswell as other equipment. He quickly moved on to MED SoundStudio, which at the time was the best tracker that was available and was cheaper than other alternatives. This was also the year that he started dating his partner Denise.
BDWRekordings was setup in 2001 as a netlabel to promote Barry's works. He released Bouncy Techno and UK Hardcore tracks for free over the net under the names DJ Jordan K and Euphorik Rhythm he became a favorite in the tracking scene. Then the BDWRekordings.com web address was registered which has become the name of the label since. This was also the year that his first daughter was born.
In 2005 and not happy with no VST support, he then moved on to start using other sequencers that supported VST Synths and Effects, and quickly he began writing music that was more professional sounding. This was also the year his second daughter was born
Barry got involved in designing Themes/Templates for a Content Management System called Xoops, which where downloaded for free and are still being used today.
Recently, not only has he brought back BDWRekordings.com, he has brought back Vibemaster B, had Euphorik Rhythm tracks signed to PureDance NRG Records and has also become a father again to another beautiful girl and now releasing tracks as Barry Euphorik.
