Rezerection - Dance Music Event Promoter

Rezerection, a Dance Music Event Promoter, was founded in Northumberland, England by Paul Ludford back in 1989 and was originally a club night at at the Mayfair club in Newcastle. In 1991 the moved the events to the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh in Scotland playing varying different styles of Dance Music at the time.

Eventually the event became well known for its yearly Outdoor events and putting Scotland on the Dance Scene Map with the likes of Scott Brown, Joey Beltram, Marc Smith, Tom Wilson, Bass Generator, Technotrance, Lenny Dee, Q-Tex, Utra-Sonic, Charlie Lownoise and Mental Theo and many more playing at the events. Its best known events where Event 2, Event 3 and The Bangin Bunny. Happy Hardcore, Bouncy Techno, Hardcore Techno and Gabba became the more prominant genre styles being played at Rezerection during the mid 90's.

Unfortunately, the company that owned Rezerection had financial difficulties soon after the ticket agency TOCTA went bankrupt. Kitchenware Productions Ltd (Rezerections owners) went into liquidation soon after holding their cut down event "Event '97".

Rezerection has now been revived by Jon Cambell from TTF (also known as The Time Frequency) and a consortium and is now holding events at the Room at The Top (also known as R@TT or RATT) in Bathgate, West Lothian and has recently held the Bangin Bunny 2 and the Halloween Glow Show.
