What's Bouncy Techno?

Bouncy Techno is a form of Hardcore Dance music which started around 1992 and closely related to Hardcore Techno. Fusing riff's from English Breakbeat with banging kick drums from Dutch Gabba usually with a BPM speed of around 160 to 170.

This form of Hardcore hailed mainly from the North of the UK, most notibly Scotland and championed by the likes of Scott Brown, Marc Smith, Q-Tex, Bass X, Ultimate Buzz and the legend that is Tom Wilson. Also played at events such as Rezerection and Hanger 13.
